Portraits are about capturing you, your spirit and personality, in a relaxed and enjoyable way! We love combining portraiture with great locations to produce imagery that is unique and special to you. We work with natural light, mainly outdoors – in locations which may have special meaning to you, places that make for a fun-filled day, or compliment your personality.
For all our shoots, we ask you to put aside 3 hours, at a time that is convenient to you, which may be during the week, or the weekend. School holidays are a popular option for family shoots.
Before your shoot, you will need to give a little thought to possible locations which appeal to you, this may be at home, a local park or beauty spot. If you are unsure, we can help with suggestions. Additionally, we will ask you to think about your choice of clothing, as this also has a big impact on the ‘feel’ of your images.
When I arrive for your shoot, I like to start off having a chat over a coffee. We can chat about what sort of photographs you would like, and have a look at your clothing choice, along with ideas on what you might like to order. Once you are feeling nice and relaxed, we will get started with your session!
About a week after your shoot, you can enjoy a slideshow presentation of the images at Pinktulip, and together we can work out what you would like. We offer a beautiful range of products including canvases, acrylics and albums. Please see our Display Gallery for some ideas.
